QUOTES OF THE DAY
"Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm."
Winston Churchill

"Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat. "
Theodore Roosevelt

"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."
Thomas A. Edison

"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed. "
Michael Jordan

Philosophical Rant - Failure
People are so gosh-darn afraid to fall on their faces that it makes me sick. They are so afraid to put themselves out their and become vulnerable in something new. A big part of it is because they think that it would be the end of the world. Failing should be embraced! If you are not failing on a continual basis then you are not trying hard enough. Every time I try a new thing and suck miserably, that doesn't phase me. Do something that TERRIFIES you often. Afraid of heights - jump out of an airplane. Public speaking - join AA (jk), afraid of rejection - hit on every girl you meet for 1 week. There is only improvement to be made from failure.

Song of the Day
